Lamello, dowels, screws, and pocket screws
During this 3-hour workshop, you will learn how to choose and create the most suitable type of joint for each of your woodworking projects.
Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites to take part in this workshop.
Content and objectives:
For each project, it is necessary to decide on the most appropriate joint. During this workshop, you will discover and practice each of the following joinery methods: lamello, dowels, screws, and pocket screws. The exercises you complete will enable you to carry out each type of joint cleanly and accurately in different configurations: L-joints, T-joints, or extension joints.
You will learn how to properly set up and use a drill, an impact driver, a biscuit joiner, and various jigs.

Please note:
Wearing closed-toe shoes is recommended. Learning how to make hand-cut joints—dovetails, mortise and tenon, and half-lap joints—is covered in the “Traditional Joints” workshop.
