Papier-mâché sculpture

We offer 3-hour classes with Laurence LEHEL, a paper sculptor, to discover the art of papier-mâché sculpture.

Content and objectives:

The magic of papier-mâché is turning a simple newspaper into a lightweight sculpture.

The technique is simple and accessible to everyone, whether or not you have an artistic background.

With a 3-hour class, you can create a small piece without fully completing it. 

Plan for at least 2 to 3 sessions of 3 hours to make a small sculpture.

• Class 1: creation
• Class 2: shaping after drying
• Class 3: finishing 

Please note:

• Classes take place on Mondays and/or Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, as well as occasional 15-hour workshops (5 mornings).
• You can start at any time of the year.
• The sculptures shown in the photos below, made by students, required between 10 and 30 hours of work.
