Workshop “Traditional Hand-Cut Joinery”

During this 3-hour workshop, you will lay out and make two types of joints:
– a half-lap joint,
– a mortise and tenon joint with shoulder.
The tools used during this course are: a ruler, try square, marking gauge, scriber, mallet, chisels, mortise chisel, and a Japanese saw. All tools and the wood are provided.
Description
To discover solid wood craftsmanship and the satisfaction of working by hand, we offer this hands-on workshop focused on creating traditional woodworking joints. During these three hours, you will experience the time required to make a traditional joint.
Some workshops are seasonal.
