Make a wooden puzzle
This workshop is an excellent opportunity to discover hand woodworking and become familiar with traditional tools.
You will leave with your own wooden puzzle, proud to have made it yourself.
Content and objectives:
This one-day puzzle-making workshop is open to everyone, with no prerequisites. During the day, you will:
- Learn basic but essential techniques, such as marking out on wood, the first step in any woodworking project.
- Use traditional tools such as a marking gauge to mark the wood, a ruler for precise measuring, a square to check right angles, as well as a Japanese saw, chisels, and a mallet for cutting and assembly.
- Create the various joints of your puzzle.
- Leave with a unique, handmade object.
