One day to get introduced to straw marquetry
Ophélie offers a one-day introductory workshop in straw marquetry.
This very ancient technique consists of gluing rye straw edge to edge.
Content and objectives:
There are no prerequisites to take part in this introduction to straw marquetry.
During this day, you will learn how to create a straight straw pattern and a sunburst motif on a wooden support—the signature motif of furniture by Jean-Michel Frank, a decorator from the 1920s.
