Furniture renovation course – 21 hours

This furniture renovation course is open to everyone, with no prerequisites.
The group is limited to a maximum of 5 participants to ensure optimal guidance.

How do you renovate a wooden piece of furniture? Which paint should you use? What mistakes should you avoid when upcycling wooden furniture? Is it a good bargain?
These are just some of the questions we will answer during this 21-hour course.

Content and objectives:

L’objectif de ces trois journées est de vous former à rénover et relooker tous types de meubles anciens.
De la préparation à la mise en peinture, vous mettrez en pratique sur un meuble ancien toutes les étapes nécessaires à la transformation de vos meubles en bois.

• Wood renovation: stripping, cleaning, treatment, filling
• Wood finishes: staining, waxing, varnishing, oiling, cerusing
• Painting: preparing different surfaces and application
• Color: the color wheel, creating a personalized color chart

Après ces trois journées de stage, vous repartirez avec votre meuble relooké et un support pédagogique résumant la formation.
