The YONKA Stool

Would you like to build your own wooden stool? Marie Siudak designed a DIY kit that includes the tutorial, the wood, and all the accessories needed to make the Yonka stool.

You will learn, among other things, how to create dowel joints, an accessible assembly technique that mechanically connects parts by interlocking them and securing them together with glue. Precision and care are required, but the satisfaction of crafting an object yourself is incomparable!

You will use a jigsaw to shape the seat, rasp the legs, and sand by hand to even out the surface, remove stains, and eliminate imperfections.

Other steps await you, including clamping, which involves tightening the glued parts under pressure.
