Children’s workshop: candy bag

Viens fabriquer un joli sac pour collecter les bonbons que tu auras récoltés. Tu pourras le personnaliser avec un poussin, un oeuf…

Content and objectives:

During this 1.5-hour workshop, you can, on your own or accompanied by an adult:

• Create the decoration for your bag using fabric scraps, buttons, ribbons… (to sew or glue)
• Finish sewing your bag by hand using the thread colors of your choice
• Add the handles

 Each child progresses at their own pace, depending in particular on their age. If the bag is not finished by the end of the workshop, participants can take home the thread they need to complete their creation.

Guided by Christel Rio, les enfants de 6 à 10 ans pourront créer et fabriquer lors d’ateliers qui leur sont spécifiquement dédiés, des objets décoratifs, des jeux… en toute sécurité, en utilisant des matériaux et matériels adaptés.

These creative workshops aim to promote children’s manual skills, imagination, and environmental awareness by using recyclable materials in an upcycling approach.

The bags made during this workshop are created from leftover materials from L’Établisienne’s upholstery classes (jute webbing, heavy canvas and/or stuffing canvas, fabrics…). 

Children’s workshops are generally offered every other Wednesday and during part of the school holidays.

It is possible to arrange other days and time slots, or to privatize a workshop for a group of children. Feel free to contact us.
