Wood carving workshop – Bas-relief

During this two-day course, you will go through all the stages involved in creating a wood bas-relief, from setup to finishing.
A bas-relief is a sculpture made on a flat surface, like a panel or painting, with shallow depth.

Two-day course of 7 hours per day

Content and objectives:

A partir d’un sujet simple de votre inspiration, vous suivrez toutes les étapes de réalisation d’un bas-relief depuis sa mise en place jusqu’à la finition.
Guided by Benoît Jaillet, sculpteur professionnel, vous découvrirez la sculpture sur bois.

Vous apprendrez le maniement des ciseaux à bois et réaliserez un bas-relief personnalisé.

This workshop is open to everyone and requires no prior experience, either in drawing or sculpture.

• Group limited to a maximum of 8 participants
• Suitable for complete beginners, intermediate learners, or advanced participants
• Wood is provided and tools are available
