Passionate and self-taught, Côme began working with wood more than 6 years ago and founded his company CLB DESIGN after working in quality in the agri-food industry, logistics and the organization of cultural events.
Always looking for innovation, he likes to create his objects to meet a need or a desire design.
You have discovered the different techniques of cutting and joining wood at a first workshop. Come to practice by conducting A to Z of an object from plans supplied and pre-cut materials.
Come learn the techniques of woodcutting during this course of 2 hours. You will learn how to properly use a portable circular saw, a circular saw, and a miter saw.
Before you start manufacturing, we propose to review all the steps necessary for the success of your project during a meeting in particular of a half hour.
During this 3:30 workshop, you will discover with Cécilia and Clément of Atelier Ambulant, the linocut.
This process allows to print a visual on different types of media: paper, textile, wood …
You will make your stamp and print your own pattern.
The goal of these 4 hours is both to learn the cyanotype process and to draw one of your photographs from a digital file.
We will address technical and historical aspects. We will choose together your photography / graphic creation, taking into account the specificity of the Cyanotype. We will prepare a digital negative for a draw per contact, this will allow us to address some important concepts on Photoshop (tuning layer, Fusion mask, optimization of sharpness …).
After this workshop you will be autonomous and can easily make cyanotypes at home.
Antoine Faucheux, cutlery in Mayenne, helps you during the manufacture of a knife of his creation: L’Anjou, high-quality folding knife.
This 2 hours course will be provided by Bernard Desportes and will allow you to discover the natures of wood used in veneering, as well as the tools necessary. Anyone can participate, novices or not, but it might be difficult to follow for not french speaking people. Read more…

Come with a carcass ready for a new lining, stripped, repaired and reattached if necessary.

The word patina refers to techniques that involve changing the tone of paint. This is a term that also refers to the appearance and coloring that objects take with time and the effects wich are given for artificial aging of an object by imitating the “patina of age” .

After working at Thiers in a bicentennial cutlery factory and obtaining a CAP ICC (Cutting and Surgery Instruments), he returned to settle in his home territory in order to establish his business there: the Coutellerie du Maine-Anjou .
PLA, polylactic acid, is a fully biodegradable polymer resulting from the fermentation of sugar or starch as a result of synthesizing lactic acid bacteria.
PLA is used in food packaging and in the manufacture of many injected, extruded or thermoformed articles.
The PLA is the material used by the 3D printer at l’Etablisienne.
