Woodworking : modern joints
LAMELLO, DOWEL PIN, SCREW, AND POCKET SCREW
In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn to choose and create the most suitable joint for each of your woodworking projects.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to participate in this workshop.
Content & Objective: For each project, you need to decide on the most appropriate assembly. During this workshop, you will discover and practice each of the following joint methods: lamello, dowel, screw, and pocket screw. The exercises you perform will enable you to create each joint cleanly and precisely in different configurations: L-joint, T-joint, or extension joint.
You will learn to calibrate and properly handle a drill, a screwdriver, a biscuit joiner, and various jigs.

Note:
Wearing closed-toe shoes is recommended. Learning to make hand-cut joints such as dovetail, mortise and tenon, and half-lap is done during the Traditional Joints workshop.
