Weaving course – 12 hours

We offer you a 2 day weaving course, in Paris near Nation. During this 12-hour course, you will learn the basics of weaving on a frame loom and discover all the creative possibilities of weaving.

Course outline & objective

• Loom Preparation: You will learn how to set up your warp on the loom, master essential knots, and prepare your fabric for creation.
• Weaving Basics: You will discover the fundamental weaving techniques, shuttle manipulation, and the creation of various patterns and textures.
• Exploration of Yarns and Materials: You will experiment with a variety of yarns such as wool, cotton, silk, and other fibers to enhance your creative palette.
• Advanced Weaving Techniques: The second day will allow you to deepen your knowledge by learning more complex techniques.
• Incorporating Unique Elements: You will add a personal touch to your tapestry by integrating ribbons, textured materials, or other embellishments.
• Finishing Your Creation: Finally, you will learn different finishing techniques to give your tapestry a professional and durable appearance.

Throughout this workshop, you will receive personalized instruction and individual attention from Neha. She will guide you through each step of your creation, offering advice and encouragement to help you craft a tapestry you can be proud of.
