Chimi was born in Mexico City to a Mexican father and a French mother, he grew up in Mexico and was nourished by two cultures, two languages, two ways of looking at the world. After studying design in Mexico City, he provided executive production for photographers.
Chimi creates objects from materials that we often do not know what to do with: lamps emerge from the folding of tetrapak (used milk cartons), wooden toys and bicycle bags made from bamboo, associated with other materials always with the objective of making products in a coherent approach, mindful of the environment and local resources.
