Sandrine Aimar

Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

Trained as a designer, after working in a design agency I created my own company, Chez Sandrine. Since then, I’ve had a strong desire to share and pass on my knowledge and skills. Passionate about hands-on creative practices—and convinced that everyone has huge creative potential—I lead creative workshops and support people on their personal creative journeys.

What is your story with L’Établisienne?

I was looking for a friendly, welcoming place to run bachelorette party (EVJF) workshops when I met Laurence and instantly fell in love with the space. I started by hosting screen-printing workshops, then expanded into macramé.

What do you do there?

I run manual screen-printing and macramé workshops: DIY sessions, private lessons, and team-building workshops.

Bonus questions 🙂 ?

What is:

Your favorite material?
Color—if we can consider it a material: its vibrancy, playfulness, the mixing of colors, and especially the layering of two colors in screen printing that creates a third one.

Your favourite tool?
Hands—an incredible tool everyone already has, capable of creating wonders.

Your favorite gesture?
Pulling the squeegee in screen printing, at just the right angle, producing that sound on the screen that already tells you a beautiful print is coming. So magical!!
